Pupils have been given a Nu 2 U collection bag for clothing donations (also available from the School Office).

We are collecting Sports Kit and School Uniform that still have life in them: Shirts, Trousers, Skirts, Pullovers, Sweat Shirts, Ties, Sports Kit

This is to stock a new project we are running in partnership with Rowlands to create a Nu 2 U, Swap Shop in the ‘Janitors House’ at the School Gate.

Please Help us re-use items your children may have grown out of, or no longer need.

Please bring your collection bag to reception after the Easter Holiday

Too good to throw away?

USE OF MOBILE PHONES IN SCHOOL - 28/02/2017

Mobile Phones Use in School

We have had an issue where a number of students were found to be 'messaging' on phones during a class. The phones were confiscated as this is inappropriate use of mobile devices in school.

Mobile devices can be used:

  • In Social areas at break/lunch
  • In classes if the teacher gives permission and they are used to support learning

Mobile devices cannot be used

  • In classrooms unless directed by the teacher
  • In corridors when moving around school to and from classes
  • To take photographs or videos unless permission has been given by a teacher

If you use your mobile device inappropriately it will be confiscated by the teacher and held for the remainder of the period; or held at the office until the end of the morning/day. Parents may also be contacted.
